The Beatles White Album - 40 Years Later

The Beatles released their only self titled album on November 22, 1968. The Beatles was also their only double album. It became known as The White Album due to it's almost entirely white cover (except for the title "The Beatles") and the fact that it can be confusing to refer to a self titled album.

John, Paul, George, & Ringo were the greatest rock band of all time and they played every kind of music a rock band can play during their time together. I'm the type of Beatles fan that appreciates all of their music but I do have do have a special appreciation for their more psychedelic songs. And that's what this article is all about, the best five psychedelic songs of The Beatles in no particular order.

Even though it has been 38 years since the Beatles recorded together as a group, they continue to generate news and headlines in one way or another.

Now that I think of it - it's like this every three years or so - suddenly, there's a rash of Beatles related music news - and it reminds me just how remarkable they were when I see that they are still not only viable all these years later - but in fact continue to groom new, younger listeners into life long fans.

On Thursday, she spoke about her life ahead of a new exhibit of her photos in San Francisco. Pausing in front of her photo of Harrison and blues guitar maestro Clapton together with cigarettes in their hands in the mid-1970s, she reflected on the end of her marriage to the former Beatle around that time.
